Billboard's Top 100 featured two songs which were Spanish mostly, and four in the year 2016. However, during the heights of Despacito's fame in 2017 there were 19 mostly Spanish tracks that made the Top 100. Then in 2020 there were 41. Justin Bieber remixed Despacito 2017 with a version in two languages. In the following months, several artists collaborated with Reggaeton stars like Drake and Bad Bunny with MIA (2018), Madonna and Maluma and Medellin 2019. The mainstreaming of reggaeton was an issue for certain performers during the year the year 2020. Rauw alejandro and a younger generation were keen to keep the look. Rauw Alejandro incorporated electronic dance forms and other genres into his songs.
